Celebrating Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month
This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because
it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.
"Do I really sound like that?" We all remember saying that the first time we heard our voices. Help my 3rd graders find their voices with a listening center and microphone. It will help them with fluency and oral presentations!
My third grade class is made up of mostly Latino students.
They attend a Title 1 school in a working class area of Southern California. They are all very eager learners and enjoy all aspects of technology. Of course, when it comes to speaking aloud they all become very shy.
My Project
My students will be thrilled to hear themselves on a daily basis on the Easi-Speak Station. Their reading fluency and comprehension will improve as they continue to focus on what they are reading and hearing. The Easi-Speak Recorder Microphone will give my students confidence when speaking aloud and making oral presentations. The wireless earphones and listening center will open up a wonderful world of literacy for them to enjoy anywhere in the classroom.
