Celebrate Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month

This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Project

My students have made so much progress this year in reading! There are so many books they just love that I don't have. They show me the books they want at the library, or some bring pictures or sometimes I have asked other teacher's to borrow their books.

I want to fill my library shelves with books that students are craving to read!

Sometimes these books are in such high demand, students have a sign up sheet for who gets to read it next! I will always continue to listen to my students and fill my shelves with books that they are constantly talking about so they are excited to read in the classroom.

I find the same hand full of books are also being read during partner reading! Students feel confident reading books they love, and are excited to talk about it with partners. I know that if I can make reading into a social hobby, students will love to do it even more. Help build my students reading level by stocking up my library!
