Celebrating Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month
This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because
it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.
My Project
My kids love solving puzzles. They enjoy both wooden and floor puzzles. The puzzles provide them with an opportunity to play alone, in pairs or in a small group.
Puzzles are a great way to develop problem solving and fine motor skills.
These are crucial in early childhood. The more they work with puzzles the more developed the skills become.
The puzzles also provide the littles to develop their language skills in English. Many of my students are English Language Learners. They are able to develop academic and social language at the same time.
