Help me give my students learning materials such as phonics decodable readers, a magnetic whiteboard for whole class learning, fraction manipulatives, and a table for outside classroom collaboration.
Our students are special because they are such hard workers and are enthusiastic about learning all they can. We are still feeling the effects of the Covid Pandemic, and we are doing everything we can to help support their learning. We have new interventionists, so we are creating learning spaces for students to meet with specialized teachers.
The materials in this project support student learning and development in our entire school, from reading and mathematics instruction to organizing new learning spaces, even on the playground.
Phonics decodable readers will help with building reading skills, and the magnetic whiteboard and bookshelves will be used in our new reading intervention room to display learned skills and strategies, and organize learning materials. The headphones are for our computer learning lab, so students can complete reading and mathematics programs on the their Chromebooks. Also included is an outside picnic table for our playground, to provide a comfortable space outside for reading and learning.
Donors to this project will be helping the whole school with all aspects of learning; increasing reading comprehension, developing decoding skills, understanding fractions, supporting school-wide reading development, and more.
