Help me give my students items to inspire and support their learning. These items will encourage reading and writing and reinforce skills that individual students need to work on.
This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because
it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.
My Project
I work in a Title I inner-city where lunch and breakfast are free for every student. Our students are from a variety of diverse backgrounds. COVID was an adamant time for many of our students. Now that we are back in the swing of things, we are working hard to fill in the gaps from online learning. I see students in every grade level, each with their own needs. Every item on my list will reinforce and inspire student learning. Students will use the school supplies during instruction, and the toys and candy will be used as incentives. Wobble chairs will be used by students who need a little extra help to get their wiggles out. The pocket charts will be used as independent work centers to reinforce students' skills.
