My Project

Many of my students' families have moved to America in search of a better life. To help them get ahead, they must first learn the English language. Aside from instructional support and strategies such as providing visual instructions and allowing longer time to process information, target language support can also help English Learners attain academic success.

Who says learning a new language had to be difficult?

What better way to have students build critical English language skills than engaged in hands-on activities in centers or through fun-filled games. It is my hope that my English Learner students will participate and contribute in class discussions and activities along with their native English speaking peers in a matter of a few short months.
