This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Project

As Valentine's Day fastly approaches I am requesting books and a TPT gift card to purchase book activities. Love Monster books by Rachel Bright are sweet books to use around Valentine's Day. I would like to create and purchase reading activities that will help my kiddos with their literacy learning!

Love Monster is the story of a googly-eyed monster who feels lonely and different in a world of soft, cuddly creatures.

His journey to find someone who will love him is not easy, but in the end he finds love when he least expects it.

Love Monster book companion activities will help my students dig deeper into this sweet story. They will work on skills such as story elements, character traits, story retell, making text to self connections, cause and effect, problem and solution, making inferences, vocabulary, writing activities, reading comprehension, and much more!
