My Project

Teaching kindness and empathy are important parts of education. One way to teach these concepts is through community service.

Serving others teaches students how to love others and thrive in their community.

This can be taught through reading buddies with community members as well as through writing notes to others.

The books and notecards requested in this project will provide an opportunity for read-alouds as well as for reaching out and spreading kindness to neighbors and the elderly in our community. Thank you for helping to teach and spread kindness with my students.
