This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Students

Our school is a part of a dual-language program in Iowa. To see my students learning and succeeding in multiple languages is such a joy. The students come to school full of energy and excited to ask questions and learn. It is a gift to be able to see their visions and creations come to life daily. The students keep me engaged and excited for what is coming next on a daily basis. Being a future-ready classroom, technology is an intricate part of our learning.

My Project

We use technology daily in our classroom for all of the language domains. These headphones will help us further to listen, speak, read, and also write. Many times the students will turn in their work verbally after listening and reading different texts and videos that connect to our power standards. The headphones will help to lower the classroom and noise so the students can focus on their work. They will also use them to leave feedback to each other on different projects using multiple platforms. I cannot wait to see the difference they make!
