Lotus Drink Cart Essentials

Help me give my students the ability to work on financial literacy and life skills by starting a Lotus Energy Drink cart at our school.

My Project

These items will help fund and supply the Lotus Energy Drink cart that my classroom started at our rural Wisconsin school . Not only are these drinks a healthy alternative for our teaching staff when they need an energy fix in but the cart helps many special education students work on a variety of skills they will need for their future.

We plan to use a variety of service industry skills with the Lotus Cart.

Students will work on their measuring skills, adding fractions/measurements, and using correct proportions. During the making process students will learn about how to follow a recipe while also using safe food and drink preparation skills.

In addition to preparations skills the Special Education students involved in this class will learn vital financial literacy math skills for their futures. We will work on how to appropriately serve our customers while also working on identifying types of money and making change.
