My Project
This year, I am honored to be chosen to teach math to 6th graders, and I believe it will be a truly meaningful experience. Our students are unique and deserve a personalized approach that recognizes their individual strengths and challenges.

The materials I selected will offer daily practice tailored to each student’s specific goals, which will be diverse in nature. This allows me to create targeted warm-ups based on their needs, helping each student progress at their own pace. Every child has the potential to succeed, but they need the support of small-group instruction and personalized attention.
My goal is to improve their math abilities by focusing on critical skills that build their understanding and confidence. Students often struggle because teachers tend to teach to the whole group, skipping steps or not clearly explaining how answers are reached. This leaves them lost and frustrated. I want to change that by drilling into missing concepts, providing ample practice, and encouraging math talks in a safe, supportive environment—without fear of judgment.
They are capable of achieving their goals; if given the opportunity to control their learning, practice intentionally, and receive clear guidance. Every student deserves this chance to develop confidence and independence in math. I am committed to helping them unlock their full potential and ensuring they not only meet but exceed their expectations.
