My Project

My TK students learn best through exploring. In order to create curious, engaged and playful learnings, I create an environment that is highly engaging for them to explore. I am need of building up my STEM center in the classroom and as a result, I have been reading so many great benefits to playing with loose parts. Loose parts allows children to create play based on their ideas rather than materials with one purpose that predetermines their play. Research shows that loose parts helps students to explore their environments. take risks during play and develop confidence and motivation. I am so excited to be able to bring more open ended play based activities to my classroom!
