My Students

This year, I have the honor of teaching 20 resilient and hardworking six and seven-year-old readers, writers, scientists, mathematicians, and world changers! Most of my students have returned to traditional instruction for the first time since their pre-kindergarten year and I would like to provide them with a fun, caring, and engaging environment!

My Project

My students have grown tremendously as readers since August in both of their languages. Every single one of the learners works tirelessly everyday to grow as readers in both of their languages. As a class, we discuss what books we would love to see in our library especially in Spanish to help motivate us to become better and stronger readers.

My readers have requested Dog Man Books and Captain Underpants in Spanish as he is of the most popular authors in our classroom.

As their teacher, I want to provide them with books written by authors that bring them joy and help motivate them to grow as readers.

I cannot wait to see how happy these books will make my readers. I know that they will be read from cover to cover and over and over again.
