This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Project

It is hot. Extremely hot. We live in Texas so we are used to the heat but our plants are not!

Our Greenhouse needs fans to keep it cool enough for our plants to thrive!

This project will provide 3 sets of solar power fans to help keep air moving inside the Greenhouse. It is large enough to need all 3. We are also requesting shelves to make better use of our vertical space in the Greenhouse and start more seedlings! The last item on our wishlist is the solar panel with different output options. This will give us a way to access power inside the greenhouse to power any other helpful tools we may need.

As a Title 1 School, learning how to grow food isn't just a hobby, it's an important life skill. We need your support to help our new Greenhouse thrive as we give back to our community!
