My students need a new microscope, slides and specimens to complete their science learning experiences.
This project expired on July 20, 2012.
Hooray! This project is fully funded
Our microscope is no longer working, but it is a favorite way for us to look closer at what we are learning. We need a new microscope and slides that are appropriate for our age. The hands on specimens truly engage students in scientific learning.
Our students love looking closely at what they are learning.
Being Montessori students, they often research things on their own and share their learning with the class. Working with our science materials, our students learn to read, draw and make close observations of things. It is amazing to watch as they learn through this process.
Our classroom is full of young students who have a passion for Science and learning. With a new microscope, slides and hands on specimens we can truly engage our 6 to 9 year old age group. These tools help them to understand Science on a very basic level and inspire them to dig deeper.
We can help to inspire new scientists for the future.
If students love learning the sciences when they are young - they will carry that passion on throughout their education. This is the perfect age to help them explore their world. Thank you for your generous support of our learning!
