My Project
As a newly appointed Math Instructional Coach in my school, I want to be able to have a portable device that will allow me to fully immerse with the students and classes I am pushing into. With the Surface Pro, I will be able to use many of the interactive learning tools I have built with my students. I not only teach three classes a day, I also help the entire math department with the needs of their students. The portability and lightness of the Surface Pro will allow me to travel more and sit with the students.
Lincoln High School has a very diverse group of students with various learning levels.
A smart device that is more than just a laptop, will give my students the ability to interact and immerse themselves in the learning, through my small group instruction lessons. Instead of just following along with prompts, the students and I can utilize the touch screen features to fully engage in lessons. My hope is to bring students' fear of math to a love of it.
