My Students

Hello Friends! I teach inclusive Preschool in MA.

Our student population is made up of many cultures including 27 different countries and languages!

Our students are beautiful children who are eager to learn! We help our students become a community through academics, social skills, language, music and hands-on learning!

My school is a Title I school located in the inner city that has over 87% of students receiving free or reduced-price lunch rate.

Therefore, our students do not have access to many experiences outside of the classroom.

Our school motto is, "Expect the Best!" which applies to both students and teachers too! Thank you for your help in providing the best for my students!

My Project

As my students finish Preschool this year, I like to send them in to summer with some reading materials that they will enjoy. When they receive their certificate of completion it is wrapped with a book to read!

In order to celebrate my students' learning, the book All By Myself by Mercer Meyer highlights many things students have learned in PreK!

By the end of school they have learned to draw, to run, ride tricycles and many other things. This book is easy to relate to and fun! The children will be able to "read" using the pictures and actions that Little Critter performs!

Along with students' gaining confidence in themselves, they also continue to increase their book handling skills and literacy skills. Thank you for helping my students learn to read!
