Celebrate Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month

This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

Our school is an open learning environment. Our students come mostly from single family low income families. It is important to us to use technology in all facets of the learning process. As teachers we try to deliver instruction that address all our student's learning styles. I use overheads and LCD projectors when it is available. There is a need for a presentation camera to show small print material to the students that are too far away or for the students that are visual learners. We are also working to have our first graders make presentations using some form of technology. The use of the Video Presentation Cameras will be a great resource for my students. The Video Presentation Cameras will be used for all subject areas, handwriting, Hands on math, science text, student presentations and reading materials. The list of ways this camera can be used is endless. I will continue to use different forms of technology to enhance the learning environment. The presentation camera will be a great addition to our learning environment.
