Celebrating Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month
This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because
it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.
My Project
My students are always proud and eager to share their work with their classmates! A document camera will make sharing their work more accessible.
I have 23 proud bilingual mathematicians, readers and authors ready to share and discuss their work with their classmates.
Using this technology in the classroom will help open the floor to discussions. By encouraging and practicing accountable talk my students will further develop and strengthen their language skills in both English and Spanish.
The document camera will also be a helpful tool for myself while teaching throughout the day. This will facilitate my instruction in phonics, literacy and math.
