This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because
it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.
My Project
I teach real go-getters! Students in my pre-k classroom always want to do things on their own. They want to be the ones who do it, who use it, who need it all by THEMSELVES! Getting items like laminating sheets, a laminator, step stools, packing tape, and the faucet extenders will allow my students the ability to be independent.
Independence is one of the most important skills a student can learn in the pre-k grades and we look forward to learning just how much my students can do with materials that make our room accessible to them.
The laminator, laminating sheets, and packing tape will help us label all materials and student items. This will foster an environment where students can put their belongings away in their spot. The faucet extenders and the step ladders will allow my students to be fearless and excited to wash their hands (a very important skill for my little learners).
