This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because
it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.
My Project
Students that are learning English as a second language often have difficulty building vocabulary. A class set of Spanish - English dictionaries will enable students to look up unknown words they come across during reading and writing. Once they find the translation for the word, they will better comprehend the text they are reading and they will also build their vocabulary.
We have been working hard to learn alphabetizing skills and we are ready to take these skills to the next level!
We can't wait to use our Spanish - English dictionaries in class!
