Celebrating Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month
This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because
it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.
My Project
My Fifth graders are currently learning about stars, constellations, and the place of Earth in the universe. We are learning how Stars have true brightness versus apparent brightness, why we see certain stars at different times of the year, and how the Earth rotates and revolves all day everyday.
I would like to give my students the opportunity to take home their own telescope.
I am trying to Foster a love of learning and curiosity and I think if they had their own science tools at home this could happen!
