My Students

A typical day in Guidance is NEVER typical! I am up, down, around and all over the place trying to reach each student on their level. All students CAN and WILL learn and believe in their abilities!

I work in a Title 1 elementary school in an urban setting.

I serve and support the social/emotional needs of approximately 480 students in grades prekindergarten through 5. Our school serves a large military population and many of my students come from difficult backgrounds. I try to make each student feel safe and cared for so that they can succeed during the school day.

My Project

Our students need the headphones to be able to access technology in the classroom without interrupting core classroom instruction. Additionally, students will use the headphones to access the computers in the computer lab in order to receive enrichment and intervention activities on the computer.

Your donations will help students reach his or her potential by allowing for more differentiated instruction.

Each student will be able to work at the same time in a program at their own level and at their own pace without disturbing other students receiving instruction.
