Celebrate Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month

This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Project

The goal of this project is to provide our students with the opportunity to improve their physical endurance and muscular strength. Additionally, this project aims to support the development of habits that will last a lifetime. Healthy fitness habits begin when students are young.

This project will be of great value to our Longhorn athletics program.

Student-athletes will have the ability to utilize this equipment and develop as athletes. This will allow them to be in peak physical fitness as they compete in their respective sports.

While there is some equipment available, our students deserve access to additional physical fitness resources. Equipment such as the elliptical and treadmill will help students work to improve their overall health. Other items such as the storage units will ensure that students have a clean and safe gym environment.
