My Project

My students are readers, and they also love Taylor Swift! I'm looking to engage my readers even more by motivating them to read books. For each book they read, they will be able to earn beads from the bead-making kits, letter beads, and seed beads to make their very own friendship bracelet. My hope is that they will be excited to add to their bracelet and fall in love with reading at the same time! I have had students make me friendship bracelets to share and I want to tap into their love of creating these and attach them to reading together as well!

Students will be so excited to make friendship bracelets after each book they read and the goal would be that they keep reading and reading to make bracelets for others that they want to share!

Additionally, our classroom is in need of some materials like scissors, crayons, a crayon sharpener, glue sticks, animal erasers, and plastic containers in order to continue doing the learning we are doing each and every day. Your support is invaluable and so appreciated!
