Long-Lasting Lamination

My Students

What is there not to love when you spend your day with 24 six- and seven-year-olds? Every day is a new learning experience filled with curiosity and eagerness to persevere! Teaching in an inner-city school in upstate NY, I have found that children at this age are sponges, that are always eager to learn and explore new things!

I have 24 first grade students coming from a variety of different economic and cultural backgrounds, 100% of whom receive free lunch.

In addition, I have several ENL students who speak a variety of languages. I am so excited to engage this year's class! My goal is to help each child move into the 21st century by providing a classroom rich in engaging, hands-on materials and lessons.

My Project

Working with six- and seven-year-olds, I go through supplies quite fast. Their fine and gross motor skills are not fully developed so materials need to be durable and childproof. I am hoping with your support, I can provide materials that stand up to their use.

A laminator and supplies will enable me to provide my class with hands-on materials that will engage and last longer.

Colorful cardstock is studier than colored paper and more stimulating to the eye! These materials will enable me to create anchor charts, posters, labels, and center materials that will last for more than a year.
