This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Project

I teach small groups of students with dyslexia who struggle with reading, so I try to make my classroom and my lessons as interactive, comfortable and fun as possible by making activities, flash cards and so on.

Engaging activities that are long lasting and durable will not only will help my students improve their reading skills, but will also improve their self-esteem and their love for reading.

With constant use of these activities, they get worn out and laminating them would give my kiddos long lasting learning activities that they cannot only use at school, but that they can also take home for extra practice.
