Students, in my 2nd & 3rd-grade combo class, are 21st century learners who can collaborate, communicate effectively, think critically & creatively, and have character. They are eager to learn, with a natural curiosity about the world around them and how things work. They embrace challenges, take risks, and seek to find solutions to problems.
As part of our district's vision for Intentional Lesson Design, Engaging Strategies, and Innovative Practices, I am always looking for opportunities to modify and redefine student learning through the SAMR model. With technology, students have opportunities to build 21st century skills that will help prepare them to succeed in their future careers.
Through the power of the "crayon", students become the teacher as they create digital media content to share their knowledge to peers & families and reaching a global audience.
Our wonderful PTA purchased 10 new ipads last year and we now have Apple Pencil capabilities. These Logitech Crayons, using Apple Pencil technology, enables students to add pixel-precise details as they create their educational digital media content.
