Celebrating Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month
This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because
it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.
My Students
The two things that my students get excited about are reading, math and science. They especially love funny stories, weird facts about nature and mind puzzles. They get really animated when we do hands-on experiments in science and math.
My students come from all different ethnic backgrounds and cultures, but all of them have voracious appetites when it comes to reading, science experiments and puzzles.
They act as if they are starving for good books and for scientific learning about the world around them.
My Project
I like to provide educational and fun activities for students after they have finished required assignments. These logic games and puzzles would be a perfect use of this extra time! I can just picture all the thinking and analyzing that will happen as my students play these games.
These logic games will excite my puzzle loving students and also help them with problem solving skills.
They will also motivate students to finish work. I think I would be tempted to finish all my teacher work just to play these games. Also, games that promote thinking strategies are just what my classroom needs.
