My Students

I have fifty-four smart little kiddos whom I have the pleasure of working with daily. They love school and are always eager to please. They work hard and try their best. They are always wanting to do something new and actually love getting new assignments. We are located in the heart of the Appalachian Mountains and we love our school and community. We have had a rough few years with our recent layoffs. Our little families are struggling to make ends meet. I want to help them with everything I can. I would love to help my little students and their families by helping to provide them with food and snacks.

My Project

Keeping my students safe is top priority. I also want to keep them healthy. This past year we experienced one of the worst flu seasons ever. I constantly wipe down the desks, door knobs, and materials all day long. I feel this helped keep my students as healthy as possible however, I need a safe place to lock our cleaning supplies in. It is very hard to store cleaning materials in other locations outside my classroom. It would be great to have a storage cabinet to lock my clorox wipes and other cleaning supplies in. I would have room to store several other items for the students as well.
