My students need a locking, charging Chromebook cart to hold our class set of devices. This will allow for us to have devices readily available in our classroom.

My Students
We are a small school located in a rural area outside of Sacramento. We have a large English Learner population and many of our students are on free and reduced lunch. Most of our students don't live in the town where our school is located, but live in West Sacramento and the Rio Vista school district attendance zones.
We have formed partnerships with local farms in the area.
We focus on project based learning and outdoor education. Our school culture promotes a positive discipline model where students' voices are encouraged and celebrated. Our teachers create authentic, engaging lessons that are focused around 21 century skills! We believe that all children deserve to be excited to come to school because they know that the teachers and staff support and care about them.
My Project
We need a way to lock and charge our class set of Chromebooks, so we can have access to our devices in our classroom at all times. It is important that our students have access to technology in our classroom to develop 21st-century skills.
In our class we use may on-line websites in our lessons, such as Google Classroom, Storyboard, and Kahoot!
These sites build engagement and skills that will benefit them for a lifetime. If we are able to lock and charge our Chromebooks in the classroom, we will save instructional time because our students will be more comfortable with using the devices, by having them readily available.
