My Project

Our building is a 3rd-12th grade alternative school. Our students come to us with a variety of needs. Many of them live below the poverty line and do not have washers and dryers in their homes. When a parent has to choose between feeding their child or going to the laundry mat to wash clothes, food is often the item that is chosen. Thus, the students come to school wearing dirty clothes.

Help us get the necessary detergent and other supplies so we can wash clothes here at school as well as the items that the students use in the Family and Consumer Science classes.

For a long time, we did not have a washer and dryer at school. Thankfully, this is changing. However, we do not have the necessary supplies to wash and dry the clothes. Please help us get these items so we can meet the needs of our students.
