Our classroom is filled with leaders and learners who strive for academic excellence!

Regardless of their backgrounds and situations, these amazing kids come to school every day with a ready-to-learn attitude and a smile on their faces.

If you take a walk through my classroom, you would definitely see my passion for education and attention to detail. Each school year, I strive to create a classroom that is both conducive to learning and functional. My students are migrant learners who live on a reservation. They are eager to learn despite the odds they have against them in their lives. At our school, we do everything we can to help them be college and career ready. This includes being people who are hard workers and excited to learn.

My Project

Kindergarten is a time for students to really dive into reading and writing! Literacy skills are the foundation of learning. Students thrive with hands on learning. It is proven that they learn by doing! I want to bring more hands on literacy activities into my classroom. I hope that through these hands on literacy items, I will be able to offer many different ways for my students to learn. With the sight word bingo, my students will be able to reach their goal of learning 52 sight words by the end of the year. In our centers students will be able to practice rhyming, phonics, and other literacy skills.

We will be able to work together in small groups practicing our phonics skills.

When students can "play" to learn they are engaged and excited about learning! With your donation you can help me teach a classroom full of students to love reading!
