My Project

Here our PE teachers work hard to meet each child where they are at and push them to their personal best capabilities. Doing so requires the right equipment, and one of the most important pieces of equipment we really need is a portable speaker for our outdoor spaces. Our current speakers require an outlet and cords, limiting our ability to use it and to be heard in large spaces. For those students that are hard of hearing, this really poses challenges for their ability to access the curriculum. As we dive into our dance unit, teaching students cultural dances to broaden their horizon, it would take learning to a new level to be able to have them practice (and perform!) in places other than the gym. How great would it be to be able to showcase all they have learned by having them perform on our blacktop or on our outdoor stage?
