This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because
it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.
My Project
Our wonderful 3K classroom is in need of a dollhouse! Dollhouses help promote empathy, communication, and problem-solving through mimicking real-life scenarios and experiences. Children tend to be more comfortable and outgoing when speaking through a doll, it supports their social emotional well-being by giving them an opportunity to speak their minds without the risk of being too emotionally vulnerable.
Pretend play encourages organizational, classification, and fine motor skills.
It also naturally teaches the child how to use their own creativity and intelligence. The play explore rocket is an ideal toy that encourages the children to explore outer space and build curiosity about things beyond their environment.
