Celebrate Black Teachers and Students

This project is part of the Black History Month celebration because it supports a Black teacher or a school where the majority of the students are Black.

My Project

We have hundreds of students enrolled at our school and 100% qualify for the free lunch program. We need your help to make their library space an inviting place to read!

The love of reading begins with creating the right atmosphere!

When students come to the library, they should be greeted with welcoming bulletin boards and wall art that displays their favorite stories. They should be surrounded by colorful characters from their favorite books and snuggling plushies while they flip through a treasured picture book.

Please help me give my students a library that invokes imagination and invites them to stay a little longer!
