My students need a listening center, a CD/Cassette player and a set of 4 student CD players.

I am a third grade teacher in a rural school district that is constantly struggling for funding to help our students. We have a high needs population of students.

My students have become avid readers, however, some students are not exposed to high-interest literature, because they are unable to read it independently. It is my hope to provide this listening center as well as the portable CD players so my kids can listen and learn from any book they choose.

I would like to have a listening center for the classroom and portable CD players so that my students can continue their learning at home.

You will you make it possible to bring the love of reading to ALL of my students. Fluency is one of the essential components of reading instruction. Students are more likely to want to continue reading if they have the tools necessary to succeed.
