This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Project

My students are learning about life cycles soon. I would like to provide them the opportunity to witness animals in the beginning stages of life to support and maximize their learning.

Seeing eggs hatch and butterflies go through metamorphosis will be an unforgettable learning experience for my students.

The egg hatching supplies would help us see birds develop from Eggs to Chick's. The Butterfly Larva would help us see the life cycle of butterflies from larvae to adults. (I already have enclosures.) We would then release them into our butterfly garden afterwards!

I cannot wait to see the look of excitement on the kids' faces, and listen to their ideas and observations about the animals and plants they see all around them!
