Little Writers, Big Dreams: Writing Tools for Kindergarten

Help me give my students the tools they need to become confident writers! With these materials, my kindergarteners will be able to practice writing daily, develop foundational skills, and find joy in expressing their thoughts and stories!

My Project

In kindergarten, writing begins with verbally sharing stories, drawing, and labeling and gradually develops into full sentences and simple stories. To support this growth, I am requesting essential writing materials that will help my students build fine motor skills, develop confidence, and express their ideas!

Kindergarten students are energetic, curious, and eager to express themselves.

Coming into kindergarten, many of them are just beginning their educational journeys and writing is one of the most empowering skills we can help them develop. I would love the opportunity to provide my students with a variety of materials that will help them grow in their writing skills and help me differentiate writing tasks to keep all learners engaged!

The materials I am requesting include:

-Primary Journals with a drawing window for daily writing tasks

-Pencils, pencil grips, and erasers for little hands

-Dry erase boards, markers, and erasers for practice

-Flip Chart Paper for modeling and shared writing activities

-A variety of writing utensils to keep young learners engaged and motivated

These resources will make writing engaging, accessible, and fun for every student!
