I am a third grade teacher at an urban school in Indiana. My school community is comprised of financially struggling families of all races, languages, and religions, and extremely hard-working teachers and staff. As a community we are trying to give all the students attending our school an opportunity for a better future.

Through grants and other special opportunities our class has received a variety of enrichment materials. However, we desperately need some basic supplies that are not provided by our school.

To be able to learn and teach effectively day by day, our class needs basic materials, such as electric pencil sharpeners. I personally have purchased several, but they receive such heavy use, that they don't stay around long. We also need dry erase markers and pens for small group games, and our individual wipe-off boards. These small needs will make a BIG impact in our classroom.

By supplying us with these basic needs, you will start our journey in the learning process. Your donation will allow my students to have the supplies they need to make learning possible.
