Celebrate Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month

This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Students

I teach Spanish at a Title I high school with a population of over 4,200 students in the Los Angeles Area. My students enjoy learning Spanish through different sources besides the textbook. They enjoy when we read as a class as well as group projects.

My Project

This little white boards will help my students especially the shy ones participate in class more. They will be using their boards to write down responses especially when we do our jeopardy games in class to review for tests. Students will also be using this little white boards to write down examples; they will be very beneficial for students that learn better through visuals. The boards also work great when we do group work, students will be passing the boards to every group member so everyone responds with the help of the group, similar to the jeopardy activity. There will be more group interaction and everyone will be helping everyone. Moreover, the colored pencils will help my students be creative with the art work they do in class for their projects.
