My Students

My students are young adventurers and explorers. They are creative, hardworking, and beautiful young people. We are a Title 1 school with 100% free lunch. Our students are naturally curious and have great potential.

My students are very energetic and imaginative.

We do most of our learning through movement and hands-on experiences such as robotics and group projects. My students are special to me because I was once a part of their demographic. It has been an honor to work with kids from my own neighborhood.

My Project

My students love to learn through hands-on activities and are constantly in motion. They have a natural curiosity for science and social studies topics; however, it is becoming harder and harder to keep up with their ever-changing curiosities and whims.

The science and social studies curriculum from Teachers Pay Teachers are two resources that will help my energetic students to learn in their own style while grasping important science and social studies concepts.

So often, science and social studies resources are textbook resources with minimal fun. The curriculum, which is found on Teachers Pay Teachers, offers hands-on activities and experiments as well as a journal for both science and social studies. This will help us keep up with our learning and make observations. We are growing into young scientists and anthropologists. These resources are a great first step.
