This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because
it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.
I am a teacher of 9 years in a low economic school. I teach all subjects matter for first grade students.
I am looking for hands on materials for the students to be able to use. Many of our students do not have the basic background knowledge that you or I went to school knowing. Simple materials such as sand, stamps of frogs, plants, and insects would help the knowledge of my students.
Right now we have no supplies to help teach the life cycles of frogs, butterflies, plants and insects. The four square table that I am asking for would allow four students to be able to explore at the same time! The table would also allow four different materials to be explored at the same time, one in each section! The stamps that I am asking for will allow the students to create and explore how the life cycles change and grow. All students at this age love to explore nature. All the items that I am asking for will allow the students to explore through science!
Your help will ensure that my student are able to explore and learn through hands on materials. You will make it possible for the students to understand, learn, explore and make visualize what they need to know.
