This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Project

Our community is moving forward and every day we aim to make school a safe and exciting place for children to spend their time. I've seen other classes use things like the power pens on our list. These kinds of materials Teaching Reading Activity center make learning fun and hands on. When we get a delivery from Donors Choose, our kiddos get a giant smile on their faces. It feels good to know that even a stranger is invested in their learning. We really enjoy doing centers after whole group lessons. We would love to add more engaging activities for center time.
