My Students

I have a wonderful group of 12 students. There are 4 boys and 8 girls. They are all excited about learning new things, and I always encourage them to give me their best effort.

We do a lot of kinesthetic activities in first grade to keep our blood flowing and our brains learning.

These students have the best attitudes and really want to do strive to do their best. They love to give hugs and tell stories upon stories that are always entertaining!

My Project

The back of my classroom on the rug is where we often meet for whole group lessons and instruction. I like to meet back there as a group because I feel as though it is a place where we focus well. In the back of my room where we meet, there is no white board space. Often times I like to display things for students to see to help them learn. At the moment, I have a small white board that I try to hold so they can see and write on at the same time which can be very difficult. Having an easel in the back of the room would make it so much easier for me to give my whole group instruction and could probably be done in half the time.
