Little Readers

My students need leveled readers to progress in reading fluency and comprehension. This guided reading set will get them in the right direction!

My Students

We are a very small community in Southeast Texas that was severely impacted by Hurricane Harvey. Many of my students had some type of loss from the hurricane. Some of them lost their homes and their school.

My students, although many have lost so much, have stayed very positive throughout the whole year.

They are all eager to learn, despite the turmoil they have been through. They are a fun group of kids, and truly enjoy coming every single day!

My Project

Reading is essential in first grade! With these guided readers, my students will be able to practice and become more fluent and confident with their reading. I do small reading groups daily with my students to help make them more successful.

By donating to our classroom, you will be helping create successful readers that will have a love for reading!

They will enjoy reading these books because they are interested in the topics and they are fun to read, and most importantly they are on their level! This makes them much more confident and makes them want to read because they CAN!
