This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because
it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.
My Project
I have had a wonderful group of students this school year. They have enjoyed our times together on the carpet for our afternoon story time and I cannot wait to continue this with my students next year. I was able to visit the classes of the students who will be coming up next year and I am so excited to work with them. They are a very diverse group and not many speak English as their first language. A great classroom library is crucial to supporting students in gaining confidence while learning a new language.
