Celebrate Black Teachers and Students

This project is part of the Black History Month celebration because it supports a Black teacher or a school where the majority of the students are Black.

My Project

I want to introduce a variety of classic children's books to my students. As my students read these books, they will learn more vocabulary and have a better understanding of the different cultures and lifestyles of the people and things that they read about.

My students will really enjoy learning about the different characters in these stories and what roles that they play in the story.

Stories present different situations and ideas for children to think about. These books will help encourage my students to read, learn about different people and things, and realize how much fun reading can be.
