My Project

Kindergarten students are very curious about the world around them. These Learning Resources Stem science kits and household materials will allow students to have hands on science experiments and learning activities. Their little hands will be able to explore the science themes of weather, animals, and motions (push and pull) in a creative way that will grow both their scientific thinking and their creativity.

This project will invite students to think, create, and organize their learning in a fun and exciting science environment!

They will be able to design a playground using the Learning Resource Stem Playground, City Design, Pendulum, and/or magnet kits or using household materials like cups, aluminum foil or other objects in hands-on experiences where motion is used everyday. We will then carry over that scientific learning to the school playground or other places in their lives. They will be able to read books about motion with the four books on my list.

They will use the household items like aluminon foil, paper crepe paper, cups, ping pong balls, plastic eggs, magnets to do experiments related to weather and movement. They will also use science kits that help promote hands on experimenting like making bouncy balls, hurricanes, and volcanos. Please help my students enjoy the excitement of hands on science!
