My Project

My students are bright, energetic, and eager to learn — but many of them struggle with self-regulation, focus, and emotional control throughout the day. In our classroom, big feelings and sensory needs can make it challenging for students to stay engaged and ready to learn. By adding sensory tools, I can help them transition from overwhelmed to calm, focused, and successful.

This project will provide students with essential sensory resources such as fidget tools, sensory bins and calming materials for our classroom’s regulation corner.

These tools help students manage their energy, reduce anxiety, and regain focus without disrupting learning.

When students have access to appropriate sensory supports, they are better equipped to participate, remain on task, and build the self-regulation skills they need both in school and beyond. These tools give students a safe, supportive way to meet their sensory needs and return to learning ready and confident.
